The 199th running of the Constantia Greenbelt Park Run took place on 12 October 2019, with 663 finishers on a beautiful Spring morning… and with 102 personal bests and 64 first-timers, it was a beautiful morning to remember.

As per usual there was a frantic flurry of activity as the ambitious tore off at a frantic pace, followed by the sedate strollers, many with dogs or prams in tow.

Veteran Male Mason Cranswick was the first finisher in 19:02, just 2 seconds off his PB in this his 26th run.

Lisa Megan Connellan was the first lady home in 22:01, a new PB in her 21st Constanti Park Run. Abby MacDonald (age group 11-14!) was second just 18 seconds later in her 24th run.

Well done to all and a big thanks to the marshalls and organisers, who are the reason Park Runs have become a global phenomenon, having recently cracked the six million registered runner mark worldwide.
