Off-break bowlers aren’t renowned as being the tightest bowlers in the land of T20 Cricket, but Le Tissier was proving hard to get away in his third over, the 12th of the innings, with Guernsey team-mate Ferbrache struggled to get him away. With one ball left of the over Le Tissier tried to put a bit extra on the final delivery, but unfortunately what he put on the ball was part of his pocket!

His finger got caught in his pocket as he looked to work up a bit of extra bite to the delivery, causing him to send the ball flying high towards backward point. Dead ball signalled. 

He took it in good humour and carried on where he’d left off, ending the over with just a single off the last ball and finishing with decent figures of 4-0-24-1, but there’s nothing in the scorebook to reflect his magnificent skyball.

Ferbranche top-scored with 52 off 48 ball (2×4, 1×7, S/R 108.33) as his side ended their 20 over on 105/5, but Guernsey’s Josh Butler lead the victory charge for Andy’s XI for a fairly comfortable win (scorecard unconfirmed!). Le Tissier, Ferbranche and Butler have all played all 9 of Guernsey’s T20Is.
