Le Tissier’s unplayable skyball

Guernsey offie Luke Le Tissier sent down an unplayable ball to Guernsey team-mate Ben Ferbrache during a Covid-19 exhibition match on 30 May 2020, the first cricket match in the British Isles since the UK went into lockdown.

The Guernsey Cricket Board’s (GCB) Covid-19 Appeal Match in aid of the GCB Covid-19 Appeal offered cricket-starved fans a touch of live cricket action. With the action streamed worldwide live from Castel, Guernsey, the T20 match between Olly Tapps’s XI and Andy Cornford’s XI served up a welcome diversion from talk of quarantine and lockdown and gave the players a chance to shake off the cobwebs… and clearly there were some shaking needed!
